Business Development Manager – Midlands Industrial Hose To £30k basic, £5k bonus, Car, Pension, Life Assurance, Mobile and Laptop.
Now here is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding division of a major name in the industrial hose manufacturing market. An opportunity exists for a seasoned industrial business to business territory manager to enter the fray and take over a healthy base of existing customers while focussing on generating new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real name for themselves, drive their career forward and take advantage of excellent promotional prospects. The role: Working closely with an existing framework of specialist distributors your main task will be to find end user business that you will then channel through the most appropriate distributor. The business can be either as a ‘replacement maintenance’ part or, as part of a new OEM project. Target industries include, food, medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, marine and general industry. Home based, you will typically be looking at 4 days on the road and a day for admin. It’s a really varied and challenging role that will require hard work and discipline; especially as the manager has very much a ‘leave you to get on with it approach’….no micro managing here.
You: Midlands’s based; Birmingham is central to the territory. A proven track record of new business development in an industrial sales capacity. Experienced in effectively managing a large territory. Product background is largely open but the more industrial component biased the better. Diligent in approach, hard working and organised are a must. Simple really!
