Reporting to the CAD Manager, the CAD/SLA Prepper will be involved in preparing CAD data files (CAD prepping) ready to build parts on our SLA machines. This includes STL file preparation, file translation and handling and fixing poor data files. In addition he/she will help to run the SLA laser machines, which involves starting the machines when ready to build parts and general machine maintenance. It also involves maintaining the full downstream work schedule on Microsoft Excel.
Ideally the right candidate will have 3D CAD modeling experience, be computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and 3D visualization skills. An understanding and interest in the SLA process along with a comprehension of STL file handing and data fixing would be a distinct advantage.
Salary : Approx. £18k to £20k depending on the experience
