The CNC Programmer / Setter will be responsible for setting and programming a range of multi axis CNC controlled lathes; working to tight tolerances within a busy, precision, sub-contract manufacturing environment.
The CNC Programmer / Setter will have experience of fully programming multi axis CNC lathes with Fanuc control systems.
The CNC Programmer / Setter will also have knowledge of tool selection, scrap reduction, with a strong work ethic, an ability to work on their own initiative, and a sound understanding of customer priorities, problem solving and continuous improvement within a sub-contract, precision machining environment.
Salary : Circa £24,000 depending on skills and ability for a shift-based position
