Design Engineer £32k Permanent. A competent 3D CAD Design Engineer with experience of Unigraphics and NX is required to join a small and successful team based in the West Midlands. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of taking product design of consumer durables from concept through to production ensuring they comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities. The Ideal candidate will have good product design experience (DFM) as well as experience of designing components for plastic injection moulding domestic components and materials as well as the ability to liaise with tooling and manufacturing engineers. The successful Design Engineer will ideally be educated to Degree or HND level in product design or qualified by experience. You will be responsible for the design of new prototype products as well as revising existing parts ensuring they comply with commercial briefs for the product specifications and that all relevant documentation is completed.
Injection moulding, Solidworks, Unigraphics 7.5, Special Skills :
