In order to continue the sustained growth within our business we are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Finance Analyst to provide business decision support to one of our larger business units.
This role is a business facing Finance Analyst role which reports into the Managing Director of the division and its key aim is to provide analysis and to challenge the business unit to ensure that it reacts to changes and also continues its ability to drive forward proactively.
Whilst core accounting skills such as budgeting and forecasting, reporting and P&L exposure form part of the role this role is a highly commercial Finance Analyst role and will have a varied and challenging nature.
Key duties include supporting operational and sales teams within the business unit with analysis, reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, planning and budgeting. You will be expected to challenge senior decision makers within the business and will also be expected to be proactive in your advice and support.
This is a broad Financial Planning and Analysis role and it is expected that you will have or be moving towards an accounting qualification CIMA, ACCA or possibly ACA. You will have strong Excel skills and will ideally have some exposure to a reporting tool such as Cognos, Hyperion or SAP BW.
This role offers excellent progression opportunities within a leading Oxford employer and could see the successful candidate move into more mainstream finance roles or offer further commercial opportunities.
