In order to continue the growth and stability of our UK Business which had a record year in FY10 we are currently recruiting the role of Finance Director to be based at our UK headquarters. With responsibility for the UK Finance Director role as well as Company secretarial duties you will be an accomplished qualified finance leader with significant post qualified experience. Our business is a leading performer within a privately owned group with worldwide interests and a UK turnover of c£30million. The UK office has 11 employees in various functions and you will form part of the senior management team locally. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for production of all financial reporting in UK GAAP which is consolidated to IFRS. You will also oversee payroll and HR; control Accounts Payable and Receivables as well as tax affairs. In addition to this you will prepare monthly budgeting and forecasting as well as any ad hoc reporting requests. Key challenges alongside robust internal controls and reporting will include overseeing the transition to a new accounting package (Navision). The role works closely with the Sales Director locally and will add strategic value to the business in the form of proactive management information. An assertive and confident set of communication skills are a must as well as hands on technical accounting skills. The role includes line management responsibilities for two members of staff. Industry experience is not strictly necessary so we welcome applications from all sectors.
