An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced General Manager to take complete charge of the catering function at a well known Midlands football club. This role exists as part of a current ‘redevelopment process’ which will ensure that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress on to a potential Sales Director role over the next couple of seasons; it’s definitely an exciting time to join.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring sustained growth of turnover and net operating profits at site level, and for effectively managing growth and retaining the contract. You will provide day-to-day operational advice, best practice and guidance to your team in-line with business objectives.
Reporting in to you you’ll have the Head Chef, Events and Hospitality, Bars and Retail Management and Sales and Marketing and all the relevant permanent and temporary staff associated with these departments.
This is a fully autonomous role where writing budgets, weekly forecasting, control of stock and labour and quarterly and half yearly reporting will be down to you.
