Reporting to the Operations Manager in the UK and QHSE Director in Europe, the HSEQ Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • The Management Representative for QHSE matters, liaising with Company Directors, Department Supervisors, Customers, Suppliers and accreditation bodies;
  • Advising Directors and Management of changes to Legislative, Technical & QHSE requirements;
  • Chairing QHSE Management Review & Committee meeting;
  • Producing and maintaining all QHSE documentation including the QHSE Manual, procedures & process maps, standard forms;
  • Implementation of QHSE Training and conducting Company inductions for any new staff members;
  • Scheduling & Performing QHSE internal audits assessing a compliance with legal and other requirements, identifying non-conformance and required corrective action;
  • Monitoring and measuring performance against KPI’s and Objectives and targets, including recording & analysing of customer feedback;
  • Supporting the line managers providing advice, guidance & suggestions for the implementation of the QHSE policies and Preventive measures;
  • Investigating accidents and incidents, conducting root cause analysis and advising on suitable corrective and preventive actions;
  • Evaluating supplier/subcontractors and maintaining approved supplier’s list;
  • Maintaining the Technical Library, ensuring that the Company has access to all current revisions of relevant Industry Standards, Technical Codes & Guidelines;
  • Liaising with the Products, Services and Workshop teams to identify high risk activities and conducting risk assessment, ensuring that all relevant staff understand their roles and responsibilities;
  • Reviewing and updating current Risk and COSHH Assessments;
  • Focal point for the FPAL & Achilles Supplier Databases, maintaining the registration information and responding to enquiries;

Working towards ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Standard certification which includes reviewing, updating environmental management policy, setting up objectives and targets, identifying current aspects and impacts to the environment.

Ideally the right candidate will have come from either an Oil refinery or power generation background with use to dealing with HSEQ issues on and off shore.
