The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the day to day hands-on Management of a small Maintenance department, maximising plant efficiency whilst ensuring all H&S and relevant regulations are adhered to. Key areas of responsibilities will include budgetary control, maintenance co-ordination, PPM planning, project management, leading Continuous Improvement teams / strategies, liaising with departmental leaders and developing / training the Maintenance team.
The Maintenance Manager will be a qualified Engineer, experienced in a high volume production environment (Pressings), conversant with a range of automated Presses and associated equipment. Also essential is knowledge of techniques such as PPM, root cause analysis and resource planning, along with all the relevant skills required to manage an Engineering team.
Salary : Circa £25-30,000 depending on skills and ability
