Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will be performing all instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities to maintain optimum life and operation of plant machinery and equipment. This will involve the periodic preventive maintenance of plant (PPM). Providing technical advice to production trouble shooting. Regular checks to all equipment. The creation of documentation in reporting issues and concerns to equipment wear and tear. Provide lean manufacturing and recommendations for improvement to the maintenance management system, permit to work, work access and personal safety provisions.
Ideally the right person will be a time service engineer, with an HNC or equivalent qualification. Will be electrically bias with and understand in the operation of Siemens S5 PLC systems. Gained hands on maintenance of processing plant equipment, and a good problem solver, able to communication issues to relevant personnel.
Salary Circa £31,000 depending on experience
Hours of Work 3 week rotation
Week 1 Mon – Thur 6:00 – 14:00 Fri 6:00 – Noon
Week 2 Mon – Thur 8:00 – 16:00 Fri Noon – 18:00
Week 3 Mon – Thur 16:00 – Midnight Fri 18:00 – Midnight
