The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance / fault finding and repair of a range of Hydraulic and Pneumatic furnaces, material handling equipment and associated machinery. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will also be required to actively participate in both PPM schedules and continuous improvement activities (identification and rectification). The Maintenance Technician will be a time served multi skilled Maintenance Technician with a mechanical bias and electrical knowledge coupled with experience of working in a team-orientated, foundry / heavy industry-type environment. A hydraulic / pneumatic background is essential along with experience of PLC controlled production equipment, PPM methodology and continuous improvement techniques. Salary : Circa £28-32,000 for a continental shift pattern
