The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible new product introduction along with reviewing manufacturing processes and projects already established within the business to ensure they continue to run both efficiently and with minimum down time. Additional responsibilities include design collaboration, CNC validation, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, process planning / justification, testing procedures, machinery / capability planning, FMEA’s, commercial liaison, work / time study and VA Engineering.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer to move to a new challenge in which they will be able to utilise their Production Engineering and project management skills. You will be from a sub-contract type, CNC machining background with practical experience of both milling and turning to tight tolerances and using Fanuc, Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls, along with hands-on CAD/CAM exposure. The Manufacturing Engineer will have experience of using modern lean tools and quality techniques in a professional engineering environment. You will also be required to manage multiple projects and work across a variety of sectors, being able to understand relevant industry standards and procedures.
Salary :  Circa £35,000 depending on skills and ability
