The Metallurgist will be responsible for all Processes / Production, Quality Adherence, Metallurgical Testing, Reporting and Documentation, in relation to the Melting of Iron. The Metallurgist will also be required to take part in departmental meetings and provide Metallurgical assistance to internal / external parties as required.
The successful Metallurgist will be highly conversant with the melting of Iron, along with having a proven track record in Production Metallurgy (Process Improvements, Projects etc) and implementation / management of Quality procedures, coupled with an appropriate qualification in Metallurgy.
Salary : £25,000 to £35,000 depending on skills and ability
