Working with the Engineering Programme Manager you will be responsible for the procurement of measurement systems and gauge metrology systems.
- You will need an understanding of how the gauges interface on the car.
- You will need to capable of writing the required specs and understand how the part is located on the vehicle.
- Which measurement points the client wants.
- Develop the gauge with supplier.
- Review concept of the gauge with supplier.
- Make and advise of any adjustments required when the gauge is launched.
- Attend the Launch of the tool.
- Sign up the transfer of the gauge to the project.
- Carry out measurement studies and measurement systems analysis to tight tolerances.
- Responsible for tracking timing and costs.
- Liaise with other project members
