Reporting to the Engineering Manager, working as an integral part of the in house maintenance team, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair to the sites plastics manufacturing machinery and all associated plant and equipment in a plastics environment. You will also be required to carry out electrical faultfinding and repair activities, implement a PPM schedule and react promptly to breakdowns
The ideal candidate will have a recognised mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or equivalent and will have gained their skills in a similar manufacturing environment. You will have a strong multi skilled background and knowledge of the plastics injection industry is essential and you will be biased towards the electrical side. The ability to work on your own initiative is key
Salary: Circa £28,000 for a Days role
