The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will be working as part of an Engineering team in an FMCG environment. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance / fault finding and repair of a range of PLC controlled Robots, Presses and Materials Handling equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will also be required to actively participate in both PPM schedules and continuous improvement activities (identification and rectification).
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will hold an Engineering qualification, ideally along with 16th / 17th Edition. You will be a time served multi skilled Maintenance Technician with electrical knowledge and experience of working in a team-orientated, process environment. You will also posses mechanical skills such as welding / fabrication and tool changes. A strong manufacturing background is essential, with a proven background in PLC faultfinding / interrogation in a fast moving production environment.
Salary : Circa £30,000 for a continental shift pattern
