The Press Setter will be responsible for the tool / condition setting and operating of a range of roll / servo strip fed, single action and progression Press Tools, up to 150t.
The Press Setter will also be responsible for Quality checks, Continuous Improvement activities and troubleshooting, alongside liaising with other departments as appropriate.
Skills & Experience : The successful Press Setter will have come from a lean manufacturing environment and hold a valid PUWER / ROSPA certificate, coupled with an up to date Reach / Pedestrian Sling and Hoist certificate.
The successful Press Setter will also have a proven background in setting air feed single action presses, progression presses and faultfinding accordingly, along with carrying out multiple tool changes of 6-8 per shift.
Salary : Circa £15-20,000 + overtime for a days role
