Obtaining optimum process conditions on moulds from single to multi cavity format, primarily utilizing hot runner systems. Ongoing mould and process development including troubleshooting, using electric, hydraulic and twin shot machines. Setting up of ancillary equipment including robotics. Close liaison with mould technicians, designers and customers. Achieving exacting quality standards to fine tolerance requirements and completing full process documentation. This is a varied role, which includes quality control elements.
After an initial induction period the role will assume a three shift working pattern.
At least 5 years experience in setting up injection moulding processes and possessing a formal training record in this area. We are looking for an extremely flexible self-motivated individual, who is able and willing to switch tasks and accommodate change at short notice. A good communicator with a positive attitude and the ability to work un-supervised. Efficient, well organised and able to maintain and improve upon the high cleanliness standards in our organisation. Capable of working to tight deadlines. Must be computer literate.
