My Client is a bespoke design house and manufacturer of leather apparel for a range of products including, Clothing, Shoes, Handbags, Wallets and Purses.
They are actively recruiting for an experienced Product Introduction Engineer to support both their production and development teams, in the taking of product from initial development stage through to the various processes into the production environment. supporting all aspects of the manufacture of the product an understanding of construction methods, machinery and product breakdown combined with Lean manufacturing experience is desirable.
The Product Introduction Engineer should ideally have good knowledge of all aspects of leather goods manufacturing and experience of machinery used in the manufacture of leather goods.
You will liaise with the development team to gain an understanding of products at prototype stage and then follow through ensuring they are produced in a lean efficient way whilst maintaining high quality standards and assist the production and lean teams with the introduction of new product and line balancing.
