Validation Engineer – County Durham – £25,000
We are working with a world-class manufacturer in the field of plastic injection-moulded products. Sectors served include; Aerospace, Automotive, FMCG and Medical devices. Due to winning additional business, we are seeking to add to the team with a Validation Engineer.
Reporting to The engineering Manager, the Validation Engineer will be expected to collate documentation and present this data when necessary to their Engineering group.
As Validation Engineer you will be expected to;
- Be familiar with and had exposure to a variety of measuring equipment such as; projector, Calipers, Micrometers, Vernier Gauges and so on.
- Measure products using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Measure detailed components and assemblies to validate against 2-D drawings and CAD.
- Previous experience within a metrology, testing or inspection environment is essential.
- Ideally, the candidate will have worked to or have a knowledge of TS16949 requirements.
- The candidate must be computer literate particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
Ideally the Validation Engineer will have previous Validation Engineering experience with an awareness of quality, manufacturing and with an eye for detail.
