Production Planner with Automotive Planning experience as well as being IT literate with a good working knowledge of both MRP and ERP systems.experience of working in a fast paced automotive industry environment is required to work within a tier one comapny.  main duties and responsibilies will be: To receive , analyse and monitor all schedules for a specific range of customers. Convert the customer requirements into a production schedule and to monitor the input of the data into the ERP system on a weekly basis.You will also manage and schedule for a set of specific suppliers in line with MRP demands as required.Lliasing with other members of the planning department  to formulate and co-ordinate a weekly production plan for all production areas, being mindful of all material availability, capacity contstraints and stock holdings.The successful Planner will monitor the production output against the given plan and have to analyse basic failures to achieve the set requirements as well as monitor specific finished stock levels against customer requirements and pre-determinded inventory policies, with the aim of keeping the overall stock value to a  minimum, but at the same time, ensuring sufficient stock is always available to meet all reasonable customer demands.Other duties include Raw material Stock levels, Work in progress as well as transportation and storage costs.  To assist in the introduction of any new planning systems and methods as required and other duties which are consistent with the nature of the job and the level of responsibility.   Automotive experience desirable but not essential. Planning experience essential. Must be IT literate with experience of both MRP and ERP systems. Qualifications – MRP, ERP
