Production Planner – Worcestershire – £28,000 to £30,000 dependant on skills and ability

The Production Planner will Report into the Management Team and working closely with all departments to ensure realistic interpretation of scheduled orders, plans and requirements. Along with ensuring efficient utilisation of production processes, you will also be responsible for all aspects of delivery performance and associated KPIs, the introduction of new products into the production line and the management of any conflicting requirements.

The successful Production Planner will have previous experience in a Senior Production Planning role ideally within an Automotive JIT or similar fast moving business, as well as experience of developing planning information systems that improves material visibility throughout manufacturing processes including the control and monitoring to achieve overall effectiveness and adherence to customer requirements. You will have a strong understanding of capacity planning and scheduling, the use of ERP / MRP systems and production quality requirements. Along with being an excellent communicator with a ‘can do’ attitude you will also have experience in resolving conflicting demands in a diplomatic and considerate manner, be an active player in the implementation of continuous improvement activities with the ability to influence and encourage an established workforce.
