Quality Manager – Northampton – Circa £35,000 dependant on skills and ability
Working within a focused and committed management team the Quality Manager will be responsible for managing a team Quality Engineers and primarily be required to take ownership of the Quality and Health & Safety systems within a high volume, customer focused manufacturing business.
• Managing and developing the systems, you will become the visible face of the business with customers and suppliers alike
• Championing non conformances and implementing corrective actions
• Adopt a pro-active stance on continuous improvement & engineering projects & actively drive the objectives of the management team forward
• Develop product specification
• Carry out feasibility studies
The Quality Manager should have a proven track record of managing and developing business systems including Quality and Health & Safety within a high volume manufacturing environment. You should be a proven Change Manager, experienced in the application of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques to gain tangible improvements in productivity and operational efficiencies together with experience of simultaneously driving multiple improvement projects to completion. You will need to have an analytical & logical approach to problem solving yet be assertive and decisive; able to respond quickly to rapidly changing situations.
Salary : Circa £35,000 dependant skills and ability
