Now here’s a cracking opportunity to join one of the UK’s premium FMCG manufacturers. Having recently gone through a sustained period of acquisition the product offering is now bigger and more diverse than ever before making them a real force to be reckoned with. This means that the sales force needs bolstering in some key areas and that’s where you come in!
The role: A mix of account management and new business, selling an extensive range of bone china and pewter figurines as well as fashion and costume jewellery. The territory which goes up to (but doesn’t include) Scotland, has a large existing database of independent and niche retailers that need maintaining first and foremost with the secondary emphasis on adding new outlets to your client portfolio. A big territory means planning skills and commitment, so if you are put off by weekly staying away then this role isn’t for you. Full product training and excellent prospects are available for the successful candidate.
You: Based on patch; you must be familiar with the geography – Proven sales ability in the retail sector- First class territory planning skills. Strong personality to be able to handle hardnosed retail buyers – Full (as clean as possible) driving licence and that’s it!
