Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Senior Engineer will be responsible for theSupervision of the engineering team and delegation / prioritising jobs, project management (improvements / cost savings / new equipment installations etc), purchasing and management of maintenance spares, budget management, health and safety, scheduling and ensuring that preventitive maintenance is carried out, supervising of contractors, ensuring service & calibration records are kept in line with legal requirements and company policies, working to and monitoring of KPI’s. The ideal candidate will have a recognised engineering qualification or equivalent and will have ideally gained their skills within a similar engineering environment. Knowledge of the injection mould process / machinery would be an advantage, although full training will be given for the right candidate. Electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential and the ability to work under your own initiative is a key factor. Salary: Up to £28,500 – £30,000 depending on experience plus a great benefits package
