Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the SQA Engineer will be responsible for the day to day management of all Quality aspects of various product launch’s, including the development and implementation of the control plan, management of the supply chain and lead all necessary problem solving activities
• Support APQP activity
• Approve PPAP documentation
• Knowledge of TS16949, Q1, FMEA & Control Plans
• Understanding the use of problem solving tools (PPS, 8D’s etc.)
• Extensive supplier liaison experience
The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will have a “hands on”, proactive, can-do approach to both problem solving and project management. The Supplier Quality Engineer will have gained your experience from within a SQA automotive JIT manufacturing environment. In addition the SQA Engineer must have a proven track record of the implementation of SQA and its impact on business strategies, adapting to the changing requirements of a demanding automotive environment including the application of TS16949, APQP, FMEA and other problem solving techniques.
This role is initially a 12-month fixed term position with a salary in the region of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
