Objectives and Purpose:
•To provide technical assistance to the sales force and to support/consult project partners and customers during developments regarding material selection, processing technology, part and tool construction.
•Solve technical field problems and to secure the development and the realisation of new applications.

•Solve technical problems of current and/or planned business.
•Realisation of new technical customer projects.
•Application and continuous improvement of personal expertise.

The Role
•To solve technical problems with both current and/or planned business.
•Support and assist sales force with technical aspects.
•Development of new applications.
•Participate as a team member with technical customer projects.
•Continuously improve the technical expertise in processing technologies, post treatment and properties of products as well as knowledge of competitor materials.
•Report on projects on a monthly basis.
•Report on daily activities by means of a Sales Support System.
•Work out processing problems.
•Give lectures at seminars and customer events.
•Technically train the sales force and distributors.
•Maintain and develop the credibility of the Group at customers and prospects.
•Continuous improvement.
•Development of new markets with new products.
•Support new product introduction, planning and management.
•Evaluate and develop tool and product design.
The Candidate
•Ideally technically qualified, although hands on experience with outweigh this.
•Demonstrable track record of achievement within or related to polymer raw materials.
•Experience of solving material issues by working with and through both technical and commercial departments in organisations.
•Ability to develop and implement an effective plan that is designed to achieve goals.
•Ability to establish priorities and initiate problem solving techniques.
•Proven leadership skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks.
•Demonstrate relationship building skills and the ability to work on an independent basis as well as part of a close knit team.
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
•Strong technical skills.
•Strong analytical skills.

•Strong business acumen with results orientation.
